Jamba Mulimbwe

Angola
BA Fine Art Experimental Media
Dance Instructor
“It is a pleasure for me to visit various countries around the world in order to dance and teach what I know and what is inside me.
There are mysteries in my life that cannot be explained and one of them is the energy and happiness that I feel when I dance. I have dedicated myself to be a dance teacher and an organizer of cultural events. This has always been my dream”.

A young founder of the Kizomba.cz dance studio, choreographer, and instructor in many Afro-Latin dances such as Salsa, Kizomba, Merengue and Bachata, to name just a few. His name is Jamba! Jamba is a young man who is often mistaken on stage for a native Cuban or Latin American. Over an eight-year period he has developed his own unique technique of dance moves and a fresh style of dancing Salsa, which he defines as “Salsa with an Afro twist”, characterized by an unmistakable ‘typical African tenderness’.

Jamba is regarded as one of the most charismatic dancers and entertainers, not only in the Czech Republic, but throughout the world. He is an accomplished dancer, bringing to life Prague’s nightlife in trendy places such as La Bodeguita del Medio and La Casa Argentina and has also been known to entertain in various Latin clubs. Furthermore, he takes part in international dance festivals in France, Portugal, Great Britain, Slovakia and Poland, where his talent captivates lovers of dance of different ethnicities. This year he will be holding workshops in many countries such as UAE (Dubai), South Africa and Angola.

We invite you to attend his dance classes.
