In Autumn 1945 the company founder, Mr. Michael Liska, decided to open a furriery in Prague’s Železná Street. With 32 employees, this soon became a leading and unrivalled Prague enterprise. After February 1948, Mr. Liska’s property was confiscated and because, naturally, he was not satisfied with the offer of staying on in his shop as an ordinary employee, he left for Vienna, Austria.

In Vienna, he again built a much larger furrier empire from scratch which, at the present time, ranks among the most sought-after producers of luxurious furs in the fashion world. The clients include significant international personalities. In 1991, after privatisation, Mr. Liska managed to regain the premises in Prague, where he established a subsidiary company.

For our lady shop assistants, every customer who enters our luxury store is a VIP whom we approach on an individual and professional level. We will be happy to enlighten the customer as to the secrets of the world of furs. We offer a wide selection of furs, e.g. of sable, chinchilla, mink, astrakhan, fox, weasel and others. A counselling service in the selection of the appropriate fur to satisfy the customer’s requirements is a matter of fact for us. In our store, you will also find the Wolford international brand, branded purse bags, ready-made clothes, shoes and accessories.

The respect, helpfulness and friendly attitude of our personnel are all at a high professional level. We speak Czech, Russian, English and German.
