What does “Casa Dolce Casa” mean exactly?
“Casa Dolce Casa” literally means “Home Sweet Home”. It’s an international common expression for the warmth and motherly atmosphere that each of us feels in our own home. The founders of Casa Dolce Casa (which is part of the large Florim Group, www.florim.it) have aimed at the creation of a high value-added and technologically advanced ceramic tile collection, fully dedicated to the residential segment.

Do you mean that Casa Dolce Casa products are only “residentially oriented”?
Not at all. Casa Dolce Casa manufactures the highest quality “porcelain stoneware” glazed and unglazed ceramic tiles. It deals with fully vitrified raw material mixtures whose technical performance (water absorption, hardness, load and weight resistance, etc.) enables them to be used by architects, building companies, developers and, of course, private consumers, for any application (interior and exterior). For the past ten years, Casa Dolce Casa has been drawing its inspiration from nature! Natural beauty may not be totally imitated, however Casa Dolce Casa has succeed in blending natural harmony with technical performance.

What’s your client profile? And what would you advise those who are willing to experience Casa Dolce Casa services?
Well, that’s difficult to say in simple words. We serve all types of clientele: private consumers who want to refurbish small bathrooms, famous architects who are designing their own new villas and renowned large developers who want to offer a unique product to their buyers. In general terms, I could say that our typical client is one who enjoys a high standard of living, one who loves high-end products and not “fake luxury”, one who understands the actual value of goods! Several people, who have become our regular clients, told me in the past, “I love your products, however I’m afraid they may be too expensive” and my reply has always been: “Come and see us in our show room premises, we’ve got great Italian coffee”. Each time we have succeeded in satisfying their wishes beyond their initial expectations. High quality products, stylish goods are not necessarily expensive and Casa Dolce Casa offers the right solution for everybody!

You have recently opened a new show room in Karlín. Is it as successful as you expected?
Karlín has always been among our favorite districts. This is perhaps because we’ve got a lot of friends (and clients) who live there and we launched our first operation right in Karlín. In other words, the location, in our opinion, is very convenient because it’s easy to reach by car, metro and tram (several business partners come on foot from Prague during summer, the river bank is beautiful!) We opened the new show room at the beginning of this year and it’s amazing how fast it’s become popular. We welcome our business partners and even private consumers to our premises as we would to our own home. The atmosphere is very informal, the staff very kind and warm and, as mentioned, our Italian espresso makes the difference! One does not feel under pressure to buy anything! What we normally do is to sit down with clients and explain what we do, what we offer and how we could be helpful to them. Afterwards we begin to work closely with clients in order to find the best possible solution for them in terms of design and, of course, price. The full collection is well displayed and clients may take samples and catalogues home with them. We have only been there for 8 months and we’re already preparing a show room extension in order to offer a greater variety of products and even more comfort. 

Lastly. Why should anyone go and see you in your show room to buy ceramic tiles?
First of all we have a very wide range of sanitary ware and bath design collections, so that’s one of the reasons. Then… well… come and discover for yourselves!
