Expensive Traveller

Are there any people among us who do not wish to visit different countries, to understand people of different cultures, their music, architecture, religion, art? Hardly so… We all want to have impressions, emotions and inspirations that trips give us as a gift. We all want to feel like pioneers.

It is obvious that travel can be “expensive”: hotels from 400 EUR per night, 200 EUR for meals a day, and flying business class. Or one can go “cheap”: a hotel from 10 EUR per night, 5-10 EUR for meals, and flights in economy class.

In my opinion, “cheap” is not the most sensible choice. Little comfort. Many dangers. We live in a world where many people create comfort for us, just as we do it for them. Why should we abandon it?

If we are ready to travel, so let it be an expensive trip, life in general for that matter, let it be expensive as well.

So if you are facing a dilemma: to buy a new car or to go for a family vacation, do not hesitate to pack your bags. Even the most luxurious car in some time will cease to please you, but memories of vacations spent with relatives, will remain forever. And here is some free advice for you, dear traveller.

Try to treat everything with a grain of humour Life without humour is like meat without salt. Smile when once again you are faced with an absurd situation. There will be something to remember and a story to tell!

Remember the place where you felt good
When you are sick at heart, try to mentally move into this place, remember the smells, sounds, turn face to the sun and listen to the noise of the surf. This part of your happy journey will help you in moments of sadness.

All for the better!
If possible, try to see all positive moments Do you think that your journey is going in absolutely no way that you were planning it? Look at things through a coloured prism of your optimism and you will see that things are not so bad.

Be kind
You're a traveller after all; you are the darling of fortune. Good deeds bring a double pleasure: to the one to whom we have helped, and ourselves, because this is our merit as well. Write a letter of thanks to the hotel, restaurant, museum that you visited and your mood will immediately improve. You do not need to feel sorry for your strength, time and money spent for good deeds.

Catch the moment
Instead of waiting for a special occasion, arrange your holiday today. Invite new friends for dinner. Buy something completely unexpected to please your soul. Meet the sunrise with a loved one. Raise a toast to the good day, to the successful journey. Just act and be happy!
